Maintaining the safety of your playground increases the play equipment life and decreases legal exposure and operating costs. Many insurance companies now offer a reduced rate to homeowner associations who practice playground maintenance programs that utilize licensed certified playground safety inspectors.

All major manufacturers require a maintenance program to be in place to properly maintain the equipment. If a maintenance program is not in effect it voids the manufacturers warranty. About 70% of all playground injuries occur on public property. Park Pro, powered by PDspect, only follows the strict policies issued by ASTM and CPSC to insure childrens safety.

The PDspect playground inspection addition is designed for use by professional playground inspectors. PDspect will help you simplify the process of collecting inspection information and creating a professional, easy to understand report. With the software you’re able to use a portable device in the field to input information and pictures so that once the inspection is complete, so is the report.

The playground inspection addition can be used for all types of playground inspections and comes with 7 pre-built inspection forms. Each form can also be further customized by you to meet your specific needs.

Audits are similar to an inspection, but very detailed. An audit should be completed when opening a new playground, modifying an older one or if your playground has never been inspected.

The audit has the playground inspector check every inch of the playground for safety hazards. Where the inspection only checks for specific equipment hazards an audit provides the basis upon which all future inspections will be based and the beginning of the important documentation which will protect you from liability.

Audits are conducted for the purpose of determining compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Commission Handbook for Public Playground Safety, Publication 325 and ASTM F 1487-05: Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use. This is much more involved than an inspection.

In your playground not all play equipment will need replacing at the same time, and it’s a shame to replace a well-loved item when it has years of life left in it. In the interest of reducing waste and understanding that our customers don’t always have the budget to replace a whole playground, our playground repairs and refurbishment service can help give your playground a new lease of life. Park Pro has Certified Playground Safety Inspectors on staff, so they will check out the safety of your playground at the same time. We will happily come and inspect your equipment and give you sound advice on whether it’s better to refurbish or replace, providing you with a proposal for whatever the job requires. Park Pro can service every manufacture of play equipment, park amenities. Shade structure, surfacing or splash pads. Our skilled team has years of experience, can restore your equipment to its original pristine condition with all working parts as good as new. General Pricing:

We have a standard call out fee of $75.00. This will give you up to 15 square feet of removal. The next 15 square feet for $30 more. If you have more than 30 Square Feet please call for a quote.
